Old Farmer's Advice:
Your fences need to be
horse-high, pig-tight and bull-strong.
Keep skunks and bankers at a distance.
Life is simpler when you plow around the stump.
A bumble bee is considerably faster than a John Deere tractor.
Words that soak into your ears are whispered...not yelled.

Sometimes I feel like a frightened child. I understand how much I
NEED His peace.
Sometimes I feel like a broken woman. I need His peace and love to
the depth of my heart and soul!
Then I remind myself of ... what??

Railroad tracks: a short
history.
The US standard
railroad gauge (distance between the rails) is 4 feet, 8..5 inches.
That's an exceedingly odd number.
Why was that gauge used? Because that's the way they built them in
England, and English expatriates built the US railroads.
