I am your constant companion. I am your greatest helper or heaviest burden. I will push you onward and upward, or drag you down to failure. I am completely at your command.  Who am I?

Start Lovin' Your Stuff

Are you a collector? Do you window shop and then find something so adorable you just have to have it? Okay - then, let me ask you this, are you surrounded by things you love?

Is your bedroom a sanctuary? Is it a fiesta of color and texture or is it soothingly fresh and clean?

Have you found the perfect radio station or is the CD collection organized?

Are you surrounded by smells you love? When was the last time you locked the bathroom door and let Calgon take you away?

You may have guessed by now that this little pep-talk is not about having stuff but about loving the stuff we have.

I submit this to the judgment of my readers: 80% of the stuff in our lives could be chucked into the deep blue ocean - which might be all the worst for the fishes - but 100% better for us.

Look around you, my friend. Are you loving your desk? No? Well, you know I always say: "It is amazing what can be done in 5 minutes." Five minutes right there, right now, and you will LOVE your desk for hours.  Dare I say days?

What??  Only 5 minutes? Then, hours of pleasure? Hold on, folks, I will back in 5!! : )))
