Dear whomever,

Pastor _____ praised the woman for making a deal with her husband.. "Honey you go with me to church and I promise you will get some." ... Pastor called this.. Evangelism.

He isn’t suggesting that women give or withhold sex as a way to motivate their husbands to submit to God's will .. is he?

Hello? what?

My faith for my husband’s salvation rests in God the Gift-Giver. Certainly not on the correct operation of any gift (sex included.. sex is a wonderful gift, is it not?) imparted to me.

If it depended on me to get the working of any gift righteously right, it is doomed. How does one decide which God’s path is: to give or withhold sex? The human mind boggles at such decisions. Might as well flip a coin.

Fortunately, the reconciliation of my marriage is not dependent on me.. oh no.. but on the Lord, on who He is, on the fact that He longs to see the reconciliation of marriages all across the church world. Lord we do see the need!

He is the author of marriage and the designer of sex .. He done good. I can fearlessly and effectually pray for the reconciliation of marriages, mine and others, and the salvation of unsaved spouses. Because this is not only God's will.. it is His heart!

Trust in the God of the Gift~gifts!
